1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to our websites and services, including onboarding, preview generation, checkout, draft generation, editing, practice tools, gift flows, and shared review links.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Information you provide: names and event details, stories and prompts, style preferences, speech edits, optional feedback, gift recipient information, and support inquiries.
  • Transaction information: email address and payment metadata related to checkout and gift purchases. Card data is processed by Stripe and is not stored by us.
  • Usage and technical information: page views, interaction events, browser/device metadata, and IP-derived request data used for reliability, analytics, and abuse prevention.
  • Session identifiers: an anonymous session id and tool id stored in browser storage to preserve progress.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Generate and revise speech content using our AI service providers.
  • Process payments, fulfill purchases, manage gift codes, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Send transactional messages (for example, purchase confirmations and service follow-ups if enabled).
  • Measure product performance and marketing effectiveness using analytics and optional advertising pixels.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with:

  • Infrastructure and database: Vercel and Supabase.
  • AI generation: Anthropic (for preview, full draft, and revision generation).
  • Payments: Stripe (checkout, payment confirmation, and refund processing).
  • Email delivery: Resend (if email sending is enabled).
  • Rate limiting and abuse prevention: Upstash Redis (if configured).
  • Analytics and diagnostics: PostHog, Sentry, and optional Meta/Google/TikTok pixels when configured.

If you create a share link, the linked draft content may be accessed by anyone who has that link.

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Local Storage

We use browser technologies to run and measure the product:

  • Essential: a tool-selection cookie used to route your domain experience.
  • Product analytics: event tracking for conversion and usage analysis.
  • Advertising pixels (optional): Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok scripts if those integrations are enabled.
  • Local/session storage: temporary data such as onboarding progress and preview content for continuity.

You can manage cookies through browser controls. Some features may not function correctly if essential technologies are disabled.

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and business need.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information.
